A good introduction to the unix/linux environment. The common programs and commands are explained with high detail. This will get you very fluent in using the operating system, but won’t help too much in becoming a crack programmer. ★★★★★

Common Lisp

This really was a gentle introduction, it could probably be well understood by middle school students. While it was a little slow, I liked that I was able to get a good general feel for the Lisp language without straining my brain. ★★★★★
