It is so interesting how different Osaka is than Tokyo. I was especially surprised about the littering! Anyway, it sounds like you learned and experienced a lot over there. Hopefully, I will be able to get a few months in Japan at some point as well. Hard to say if I will know much Japanese if I do though. I am really curious to see what happens when you get back to the states.
