This book is considered to be a hoax, but it is interesting in that it was published in 1903 but predicted world wars and many oppressive trends that actually took place. Of course, many of these trends were already apparent prior to 1903 so it very well could be an extrapolation, but the book is interesting because the author seems to have a fairly sophisticated understanding of how these trends operate.
