This is basically a self-help version of Ayn Rand's philosophy. The author even quotes Ayn Rand a couple times. Since I've already read a lot of Ayn Rand, the content of this book felt redundant, but I can imagine that it would be much more interesting to those who haven't read Ayn Rand already. The advice in the book is fairly generic, but mostly reasonable and practical. It aims to convince you to accept that everyone is chasing after their own best interests and to respond accordingly.
