This is a guidebook for vagabonds. It is mostly focused on low-budget international travel, with a slight bias towards places with really low living expenses. A big part of it is just about the mentality of vagabonding, preparing to go, convincing yourself to do it, and how to enjoy it. There is some practical advice, like a short list of things to bring and tricks like doing your laundry in the hotel room sink with shampoo. Probably the most useful aspect of the book is the lists of references at the end of each chapter. These can help you find work abroad, further resources for how to make your money last, and guidebooks for what to see when you get there.
